Synopsis : Chao Lei is Ning, a tax collector who stays at a broken-down villa in the countryside that's reputed to be haunted. However, Ning finds nothing there other than a Taoist swordsman named Yan (Yang Chi Ching), who's also spending the night. What Ning doesn't know is that Yan is there to investigate some mysterious deaths: fellow travelers who've had their life force sucked out by unknown spirits!
